Now we know that Sidharth Malhotra has flown away to New Zealand for vacations. But who knew he would bump into the Prime Minister of New Zealand at the Auckland airport itself.

Sidharth Malhotra who is the Indian ambassador of New Zealand Toursim was extremely delighted with this meet and posted his picture with New Zealand Prime Minister John Key on his Instagram account. Talking about his upcoming trip to a leading daily, Sidharth said, “Kiwi land is the place to be, if you are an adrenaline junkie. Sky-diving is an experience that you have to live. It cannot be put into words. It just has to be experienced. I loved everything. This time, I am looking forward to doing all the other stuff that I couldn’t do last time. Travelling and learning about new cultures is an enriching experience.”

Sidharth Malhotra last visited the country in 2015 and indulged in various experiences, including sky-diving from 15000 ft, Maori war dance – the traditional dance form of the Kiwis. However, the most special experience was playing cricket on a glacier with cricketer Stephen Fleming. He had met Prime Minister John Key even then and had gifted him a handmade lion depicting confidence and power back in 2015. “My mom was so overwhelmed that I was going to be meeting the Prime Minister of New Zealand. She told me, ‘Be well-prepared and well-spoken. Don’t be nervous. This is the closest I will get to feeling like a Diplomat’s mother’,” he added.
